  • Communications: Messages between Guests and Hosts, or with our support team.

  • Facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between Guests and Hosts.
  • Provide and improve the Platform’s functionality, including search and personalization.
  • Verify user identities and ensure Platform safety.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., booking confirmations) and optional marketing communications.

  • With Hosts/Guests: Guest contact details and booking information are shared with Hosts for confirmed bookings; Host Listing details are shared with Guests.
  • Service Providers: Payment processors, cloud storage, and analytics providers who assist in operating the Platform, bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, such as in response to subpoenas or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to users.
